Dr. Gamus graduated the MD studies at the Faculty of Health Sciences
of the Ben- Gurion University in 1983.
Upon completing the military service, she has graduated the PhD studies in Microbiology at Tel-Aviv University, and at the Weizmann Institute of Science.
Further on Dr. Gamus completed a 3-year course (RcHom) in Classical Homeopathy at the Assaf Harofeh Medical Center, and practices classical homeopathy since 1995;
Graduated the two-year course in Medical Hypnosis at the Tel-Aviv University in 1999, and is a licensed hypnotherapist by the Israeli Ministry of Health.
In 1995 she joined the newly opened Complementary Medicine Clinic at the Rehabilitation Center of the Sheba Medical Center, Tel-Hashomer, and became its Director in 2002. During these years the service has been expanded considerably at the hospital and as for now is comprised of 5 clinics: at the Rehabilitation Center, Dermatology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Gastroenterology and at the Oncology Institute.
In 2002 Dr. Gamus has founded the Israeli Society for Complementary Medicine of the Israel Medical Association, and became its first chairperson.
She practices Hypnotherapy, Homeopathy and provides Integrative Counseling for patients who seek how to integrate complementary medicine with the mainstream medicine.
In addition to the clinical work, Dr. Gamus is conducting researches, is involved in academic education, is an invited lecturer at conferences and is a member of editorial board of several scientific journals
